Our Journey

We embarked upon a journey 10 years ago and since then have contributed to superior customer experience and growth of several leading companies. Now, Excellerent does not just provide professional staffing services: we provide solutions. 2012

Excellerent was founded with the vision of building a world class IT Services firm that utilizes the abundance of largely untapped IT skills that exist in Ethiopia. The first offering delivered Business analysis services to a global financial services firms’ US Headquarters. It was our first inroad towards delivering high quality IT services to a global client base while contributing to the economic growth in a historically impoverish region.

2014

Remote office location created to unite the technological talent with the client needs of the Excellerent customer requirements

2016

Saw a dramatic expansion of Excellerent offerings aligned with significant growth. This included our transformation to a Solution-Based design thinking company provides consulting, outsourcing, and information technology solutions.

2018

Established our first official Extended Development Centre (EDC) in Ethiopia with specialists in various disciplines to grow our technology capabilities.

2020

Established alliances and partnerships with various distinguished leaders within the Ethiopian government to advance the initiatives that motivate growth, social justice, and the establishment of Ethiopia on the world stage of IT trailblazers.

2021

Opened second office location in Addis Ababa and expanded original office to multiple floors in mid-town office complex, to accommodate exponential expansion of full time IT personnel. In addition, Excellerent formalized leading edge employee benefits that go beyond typical benefits packages to include transportation services and included meals.
